Today's episode is all about exploring the inner healing journey and how to uncover layers of conditioning so you can be finally be present with your true self, your intuition, and the innate wisdom that already exists within you.
My dear friend Jules Webber is back this week for a deep dive into the concepts of codependence, over-functioning and under-functioning. Jules walks us through what it means to be an over-functioner, and gives concrete examples from her own journey through life to help us understand this complex topic. Jules arms us with the tools to heal and move forward more balanced. Jules teaches us to embrace rather than ignore our triggers, and learn how we can better parent those reactions and condition ourselves to respond in a healthier way. Jules Webber is an Intimacy and Life Coach who helps women go within, nurture an intimate and loving relationship with themselves, and experience true Wholeness and belonging.
LeAnn Rimes has been in the spotlight since her early childhood. Behind the media representations and projections of her celebrity image, LeAnn has worked hard to find her true self. In this episode, LeAnn shares with us some of her insights from her journey into self-inquiry. Through deep betrayal, depression and judgment, LeAnn began to tap into her repressed pain and anger. While few of us grow up as celebrities, all of us share the common experience of needing to find ourselves and our voices, often in situations where we are not fully supported.
Money is one of the top reasons for conflict in relationships and that is why the amazing Selina Gray is back this week. Selina is here to help us unpack our money story. That is, the beliefs we hold about money that shape the way we feel about ourselves. So many of us have unhealthy patterns with money, it could be overspending, or not feeling worthy of spending, or relying on money for a sense of self. While most of us understand that money can be a stressor and reason for conflict, few of us will have the chance to understand our money wounds and work to heal them. I hope this episode helps you begin on this journey.
What happens when you wake up and realize you aren’t happy in your relationship? What if you feel like you’re outgrowing your partner? What if you’re outgrowing your old life? As we go deeper in our journey toward our inner truth we often find that our old patterns, habits and relationships need to shift. This can bring up a lot of anxiety and tension especially if we have had codependent patterns. Part of our healing is learning how to honour our growth while navigating our relationship with others. Part of our healing is leaning into the discomfort and uncertainty that comes up when we let our relationships shift, change and maybe even end.
