Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Britt Frank! Britt is a licensed psychotherapist and trauma expert who is trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and SE (Somatic Experiencing). In addition to her private practice, Britt is also a speaker and an award-winning adjunct instructor at the University of Kansas, where she’s taught classes on ethics, addiction, and clinical social work.
In this episode, Britt opens up about her own journey through addiction, how she was finally able to address and accept her challenging childhood, and how she got “unstuck” from it all—coining the term “the science of getting unstuck.” Join us as we explore the reasoning behind our repeating patterns and how we can boldly address the truths on the other side of them to help ourselves get unstuck, love ourselves fully, and live in the present moment.
